• Bloomington Ice Garden - Ice Skating School
  The Bloomington Ice Garden Skate School offers year-round instruction with highly qualified instructors. This program offers excellent preparation for all ice sports including: recreational skating, hockey, figure skating, bandy and speed skating. Skate school students can perform in the annual ice show as a fun way to showcase new skills. Refer to the brochure for additional information and class schedules. This program is sponsored by the United States Figure Skating Association.

Adult Figure Skating Championship 2010

Our Mission:

To provide a center for excellence in figure skating, using the highest ethical standards, for those interested in the sport.

Our coaches make us special! The FSC of Bloomington has an excellent staff of home club coaches. All coaches are members of US Figure Skating and the Professional Skating Association. Each coach sets their own rates and hours.

Our board keeps the club running smoothly. The FSC of Bloomington is governed by our board of directors. Monthly meetings are held at BIG. The board facilitates the financial, facility, and membership operations of the club.

Club is for recreational skaters or serious competitors. The Club offers opportunities to skate year round. Participate in special clinics, take off-ice classes, participate in the ice show, and compete and test at events.

Junior Club is for beginners. The Junior Club provides an introduction to beginning spins, jumps and connecting moves which are essential elements to further a skater's progression into advanced abilities. Instruction takes place weekly.
