Practice Ice

Practice Ice will be available at the Bloomington Ice Garden beginning Monday evening, April 12, 2010 prior to the start of the competition. There are three ice surfaces. An Olympic sized rink,(100x200) a Hockey sized rink(85x200) and the practice rink which is also regulation hockey sized (85x200). BIG is within 3 miles of all of the host hotels and 11.4 miles from the Mpls/St Paul International Airport (MSP). (www.mspairport.com)

Transportation to Bloomington
Access to Bloomington is convenient by air and by car. The Mpls/St Paul International Airport ( www.mspairport.com) is 11.4 miles northeast of the Bloomington Ice Garden (see google map. All major airlines offer direct flights from many areas of the country. All of the host hotels offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. Please contact your hotel to make arrangements if necessary.
Bloomington is very easily reached by car or bus via I-35 from the South, I-94 from the Northwest and the East, and I-90 to I-35 from the Southwest. I-35W runs right through Bloomington.
